PRODUCTION
In addition to making my own audio work, I am also a consultant for Boss Works as well as a producer and instructor.
From field recordings for sound art pieces and creative manipulation to digital production in your typical multitracked environment, I tend to focus more on creative solutions to production work and just use the tools as they come. I work primarily with Logic Pro, but also use Abelton Live, Reason, Cubase, Garage Band, and even CSound on occasion.
INSTRUCTION
I teach guitar, bass, piano, and creative digital production. In the digital age I feel there is still a strong bias among many conventional musicians that sequencing and loop-based production are not as authentic a tool for music-making as non-digital instruments.
