Justin Boss is a recording artist, composer and producer.
Having worn many hats in many fields, his current focus is on creative audio production, composition, performance and instruction. From conventional arrangements to experimental endeavors, Boss enbraces novel and unintended uses of instruments and technology both old and new; he is just as happy behind his guitar as he is behind his laptop mangling audio in Ableton Live.
Additionally, Boss is an instructor in many things audio related. He gives private lessons in guitar, bass, and piano as well newer technologies such as laptop performance with Live.
Justin also has a keen interest in developing and creating original instruments and effects (such as stompboxes) for live performance. Upon his relocation to Portland, Maine, he will begin orchestrating workshops teaching others to construct their own audio devices.
He holds a degree in physics and mathematics, and studied music production under Epsylon and Solovox at Spun Academy in Portland, Oregon. He has two children with his partner, Sarah.
